For me, this country is worth more than 3 days of exploring and sightseeing. Though it’s not a surprised that this country is expensive, You can still enjoy your stay here. Singapore offers many activities for the budget conscious people.

The park is a great place to take an afternoon stroll, run, or just to visit in the evenings for the free light show.

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra hosts various free concerts at different venues around the country, often in parks, or at the racecourse.

The main attraction within the Gardens is the National Orchid Garden which is home to over 1000 species of orchid, but there is also a ginger garden, a rainforest and various streams and waterfalls to explore.

For solo traveler best place to stay is the Hostel. There’s a lot of budget friendly Hostel around the city for 15-30sgd per night. I stayed near Little India for 20sgd per night including breakfast and its 2 minutes walk to the train station. Check Hostelworld for the list of a budget hostel. For a non-hostel type person, you can also check-in at nice hotel for 90-110sgd per night.
Transportation
One of the best transportation to roam around Singapore is by using the MTR (mass rapid transportation) price varies if how many days you want to stay and how many places you want to see, you can buy EZ card pass for minimum reload of 20sGD 3 Days pass. There are plenty of buses and taxi around Singapore also.
Food
Most casual restaurants are around 20 SGD and more and for street food lover you can visit the Hawker Center offers delicious and filling meals, usually costing between only $2.00-$6.00.
Activities
Activities in Singapore are not that expensive. Some, like the Singapore Botanical Gardens, Gardens by the Bay, and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, are free. Entrance to Singapore Zoo is 32 SGD and Underwater World is 29 SGD.
